Bell & Ross's BR 03-92 Bi-Compass

Have you guys seen this new Bell & Ross already?

Set to be unveiled at Baselworld later this year, their new BR 03-92
Bi-Compass will have a two tier dial with circles, or rotating discs
that rotate to give you the hours with a neat green arrow. While the
tan, and black minute, along with second hands rotate regularly. On
top of that, there is a 42mm black matte ceramic case, 100m WR, AR
coated sapphire crystal, 25 jewel B&R caliber 302 movement, rubber
strap, and more.

I like it but not the price. Too rich for my blood. $3900 MSRP for a watch is no chump change. Surely some can afford it and good for them.

Am 100% with you on the price Bevo. ..Think the vintage way of the
rotating disc theme is what got me. You don't see that a lot nowadays.

Just is nice to see B&R using it, or at least a neat version of it sir.

I was never fond of B&R's square models (aeroplane instrument inspired) and I'm still not. I like the way they started out. From the Bell & Ross name, to the brilliant logo to their vintage inspired classic models I'm a fan from the start. But alas, too expensive to my taste.

You guys are right on as usual about the mindset behind the pricing
on watches like these. ..I know a lot of times I just pass over so many
company's watches because of their prices, and it seems to happen
more, and more, and so often with B&R.

However, every once in a while something grabs you. Like with the
rotating discs theme that these new B&R's had.

I know it's not the
first time it's been done, just thought they were nice, and wanted to
pass the news on to you guys.

Seriously though, imagine if these were a quarter the price, or even
less than that?

They would sell like hot cakes ! Right? (Always wanted to say that.) :bounce:
