Are you stiff and unyielding in your decisions ?...OR...Can you be convinced to change your mind ?

Good question. For me the answer depends on what we are talking about. If it has to do with morals and ethics and things like that, NO I will not change my mind! Now, if we are talking about something less serious, sure I can change my mind if the argument is a reasonable one and is plausible. I'm very stubborn when it comes to ethic, morals and politics. If you're trying to change my mind on those issues, you may as well forget it!

At work it is my way because it is my responsibility and I am the on that needs to answer for it. I will listen to other points of view but I make the final call. At home it is very different. My wife and I try to work as a team and make team decisions. The kids are older and don't listen to us anymore unless they need something. Then they ask or advice.

My wife and I kinda make decision together. It's easier that way.

It takes a lot to change my mind, but it can be done.

I rarely make impulsive decision and I usually take time to articulate my thoughts and feelings around my decisions.

So, if I'm challenged to "change my mind", there better be a good reason to, as I have already thought through my decision, and can explain why I feel/think the way I do.

If the person challenging my decision is NOT able to provide me with a good thought-out reason, then I'm sticking to my guns!

I have gotten better at listening to others, which has allowed me to less stiff and unyielding in my decisions.

Ditto - my wife gives me the option of agreeing with her or sleeping in the basement - we always see eye to eye!!

. . . I'm paid to make decisions at work. At home, whole other story . . . no need to be in charge. My lovely bride is 17 times smarter than I am . . . .:lol

I have to make quick decisions. No way to second guess, so once its been made, its not changing. But, if its during a discussion where we both have some good knowledge on the subject, I can change my mind later, if I find after research that they're actually right, then let them know later over a beer. Guys have egos.Always present to some degree.

A happy wife is a happy life. She tires to make it look like its my decision, but it rarely is, lol.

I do listen and can change my mind

My girl told me that two of my faults were that I'm judgemental and I never go with the flow.

I told her that she was crazy, and that I don't agree. :%
