I'm still debating - while I like these two strap thread's I think too much coloring would be over-powering for this older wrist.
For the Tudor I lean towards gold / bronze threads and for the Sinn maybe reddish / orange threads.
BUT, I feel they both really need complementing colors to tone them down? Any ideas, suggestions?
Hopefully I'll receive both of these divers within the next ten days - two weeks.

we could probably get a cool look by going with a brighter color thread as the first layer of stitching and cover that with a thread that matches the leather to tone it down a bit like the photo here with a off white thread being covered by the brown leather matching stitch.

Dear Santa,
As my Sinn U50 is finally stateside I expect to receive it before the end of this month. I believe it has a 20mm lug width.
For it I would like an ink-black leather watch strap (textured surface preferred) with the below stitching pattern.
I like the Smiths solution to tone the thread color down - so primary red/ orange (to best match hands of watch) then oversewn with a complementary color. The single line stitch in the complementary color, it's too much for a primary color.
Two keepers (one sewn in) with blazing red/ orange Xs on them.
Edges should be finished in black - with its tip blunted (corners snipped - as seen in second pic).
Fastened by a screwed in black pre-v buckle.
Any comments, recommendations, etc appreciated; they won't hurt my feelings.
Cookies and a hot toddy will be waiting for you.

I have written up your order sheet and put it in the queue, I would like you to confirm the lug width if possible(I would hate to cut the strap to 20mm just to find out it is a 22mm lug). Thank you so much!

I've double checked and the Sinn U50 has a 20mm lug space.
My initial thinking is I need to wait, make sure its a keeper -
BUT THEN I THINK - 20MM STRAPS ARE COMMON AND WOULD FIT SEVERAL OF MY WATCHES - AND CURRENTLY ON SALE - SO I SAY GO AHEAD / BUILD ME ONE.
Mentally I've been contemplating a leather for the incoming Tudor (22mm?). Scheduled to be delivered just after the first of the year.

Today I received my 43mm Bronze/Blue Tudor - and I'm already contemplating some leather for it
(I should add that it came with 3 straps, a blue Nato, a blue rubber and a brown leather).
Of course it needs be a Blue Ostrich. Lug width unknown at this time, some report it at 22mm, others at 23mm?
Double row of X stitching (Gold/ bronze thread/ toned down on all except the keepers, they'll be in bright gold/ bronze).
One keeper sewn in
One of your larger burned bronze screw in buckles
edges dyed for best look / and weathering
slanted end tip
EDIT: my calipers also measure the lug width at 23mm; my guess is the strap will therefor need to be slightly tapered to fit the buckle (22mm?).
