For Saturday, past inspiration, meets present interpretation, as I've switched from the vintage Girard Perregaux, Sea Hawk, to the Towson Watch Company, Potomac.

Tropical dials, mechanical movements, and exotic watch straps abound!

I hope your Saturday is off to a magnificent start!

Digging through old family belongings, I just found this watch of my granddad’s; a tiny Elgin (32mm) running perfectly just from the movement of pulling out the box and handling for a minute. Seemed like a good day for reflection and an American made watch. Opinions on polishing the crystal?

Not sure if I could pull off all that yellow, but i'd try with this watch.
I could see it on black rubber or some skins looking very different.
You have a. great collection trip!
They have an all blue, all orange, all yellow, all black and a blue bezel yellow dial. I wanted it to scream Caribbean, lol. I plan on getting a vintage one and it will probably be black or orange, I figured I should get a color in the Smiths that won’t have much of a chance of doubling up on when I get a vintage one.
