would you guys buy a clerc Hydroscaph H1 Chronometer Diver watch?

it is beyond my budget too but I bought the Sinn U2 diver on impulse too. now I get the bug for Clerc watch and I am scared.

Nice watch but for that amount of money, I would prefer an In House Movement. Grand Seiko, Omega, Rolex, Breitling, Damasko, Citizen, Orient Star Royal, just to name a few. As Always YMMV.

Rolex, Breitling, Omega are even more expensive. I already have an Omega Sea Master 300 (non COSC) version. Omega is too expensive now. I find it too generic.

I like this watch but I am trying to restrain my temptation.

A member of my forum did a review of his and he appeared to like it. I did a review of the HYDROSCAPH LIMITED EDITION CHRONOGRAPH REVIEW and my impressions of it. I did not like the watch, too heavy and bulky. Perhaps this one is different. I do own the Clerc cxx divers watch which at 42mm is easily read.

I am not sure the Clerc use a reliable movement. Is it a modified ETA - 2893

I did a some research about Clerc movement. Clerc use ETA - 2892 movement which is consider very accurate.
