Nice watch but for that amount of money, I would prefer an In House Movement. Grand Seiko, Omega, Rolex, Breitling, Damasko, Citizen, Orient Star Royal, just to name a few. As Always YMMV.

Not my speed - not for that much money. I agree with the previous two replies. It's not my money though and my tastes are different than yours.

Nip. Prices are stupid, watches look even more stupid. Like something Invicta would make. Any time somebody decides that the way to 'improve' a watch case is to construct it from many more pieces than necessary... INSTANT FAIL.

Rolex, Breitling, Omega are even more expensive. I already have an Omega Sea Master 300 (non COSC) version. Omega is too expensive now. I find it too generic.

But, besides all that, you like it right? :)

A member of my forum did a review of his and he appeared to like it. I did a review of the HYDROSCAPH LIMITED EDITION CHRONOGRAPH REVIEW and my impressions of it. I did not like the watch, too heavy and bulky. Perhaps this one is different. I do own the Clerc cxx divers watch which at 42mm is easily read.

Out of courtesy to James and partner I will not post links to my forum here. Glad you found the reviews or I can be sent a private message.

the CLERC is gr8 if you got the means....

there is an homage...obvi fraction of the trademark...maybe you get a taste of the distinctive design feature elapsed time bezel complication...

but like others have said ...you likee ?

'cause you're the only 1 that will get off on the subtle nuances of wearing a CLERC TOOL DIVER....

almost an oxymoron...because tool diver is rugged... and the TRADEMARK is carriage trade... do not see DANIEL CRAIG in a bond flick...kicking it off his wrist...

reefs off BELIZE...WYNN in SINGAPORE... board room, coral reef, casino, champagne...seamless

i would wear it if i could...but...unless i had tried it on i would go to an AD

I think they have a really unique, almost futuristic but sporty/masculine look to them.

If I had the $$$, I'd definitely buy one!

Absolutely!

This 3 hand Clerc and moreover its chrono cousin have been grails of mine for a long time actually. I did get to see them in person at a Canadian AD and was really tempted. The only thing stopping me now is the price but I am convinced I will have one someday ;) . There really isn't much value in in-house movements for most of us. My Concord C1 was built very much on the same design philosophy and it is my favorite watch.
