Hey guys,

I'm closer to being able to purchase an $800ish watch, so I've been ramping up the Internet searches.

I've gone through a few infatuations with different case and dial designs, and now I think I might've hit on the one that will stick for a daily dressier watch for work that has a more vintage flare to it.

Right now I'm in LOVE with the Detroit Watch Co.'s 44 mm 1701 Classic (see below). If I could wave a magic wand, I'd make it at least 100m WR and give it a hacking movement.

Anyway, with that in mind, I thought I'd put it out there to see if any of you guys might be able to suggest a watch that has the look of the DWC (especially the small Roman numerals, white dial, and different hands) but with increased WR and a better movement.

Your input is VERY much appreciated!!!!

Can't think of anything off hand. I have a DWC 1701 & truly enjoy it. Can't say I've got anything else like it. Wear it alot (4-5 days per month) Good luck in your hunt.
