Heck, I am not expecting any watch presents this year. We have had a tough year, here on uncle Rod's mini farm. The wife developed rheumatoid arthritis in May, and Kidney cancer in July. Which means Uncle Rod's bank account can't handle a new watch this Christmas.
But its all good I guess.
My wife had the bad kidney removed, and has recovered from the surgery. The doctors agree that its unlikely to come back, thank goodness. Her RA is being treated, and she's moving around better for the moment.
I guess this year is to appreciate the good that I do have already, and that my wife is here, and that I have a beautiful daughter.
Anyhow, Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas to you all.
A no brainer!
If ole Santa would leave the Casio Rangeman under the tree
I'd be a happy camper. The Greenie Rangeman if he doesn't
I need a Rangeman to complete my "gotta have" G's herd.
Course if he only had one Zenton M45 instead, I wouldn't
throw snowballs at him
No pics. Everyone on this planet recognizes the green 9400.
After musing over which watch I'd like to see under the tree,
I find myself fantisizing about a Bell & Ross. Any B&R!!! Old, New
Just so happens a local pawn shop has a quartz B&R for cheep!
Well, relatively cheep. Compared to a Royal Oaks or Calatrava.
Dubious about purchasing it. It may be a "pig in a poke" as the
ole saying goes.
Unfortunately this specific model is no longer available, have to hunt down a used one. But the 556i & 556a are available on watchbuys.com. I might just have to suprise myself with the 556a under the tree , because the 656 hunt is not going so well.
Having your wife coming back to good health trumps ANY watch!!!!
My wife of nearly 53 years experiencing some kidney irregularities.
Goes to Nephrologist after Christmas for exploratory scanning.
Sure hope she doesn't reprise your wifes experience.
Merry Christmas ole Crotch!!!
