In the end it was the escapement that was the original problem.

Yeah, no fix for Rays eyes ... but I see your parts and pieces up there . It looks like some of the gears are actually broken. Did you drag it behind your car ???

Well... let me just say that I got a little impatient... It was a $40 purchase, broke after one week, and I just wanted to play around in the movement with my new watch tools. Parts would have not been worth the cost. Needed new escapement. And, if I'm honest, that repair was beyond my knowledge and skill!!

Hey maybe those parts will come in handy down the road in some project, or something FD ! Sorry about that watch breaking like that, but at least you got to play around a little like this. :thumb:
