Nice.... I'm thinking more and more about a manual wind.

What is a manual wind?
A mechanical movement.
It is how watches originated...it started in pocket watches and then of course wrist watches.
Then a rotor and other parts were added and you have an automatic mechanical.
And then of course in the 70's came quartz watches.
Mechanical watches have to be wound, by way of the crown , to keep the time going.Usually you wind the watch once a day.

Check out aviation-time, they have a pretty good selection of manual wind watches

I love my Hamilton Khaki field with a ETA 2750 mech wind . Nice and smooth, long run time.
I also have a Hamilton from 1947 , with a 987s 17 jewel mech wind, nice running too, even after all this time.
