I bought a Combat Sub about 6 weeks ago and noticed this "E" stamped on the back of the watch. Does anybody know what it stands for?

Maybe "experimental"... Could be why your movement runs so well.:) Still don't have a clue...
Lol 😂. Maybe the "E" stands for their new "extreme accuracy" model 😄. It really is a mystery.

Now that you've posted this, I recall seeing one online not too long ago with an "l" engraved on a lug (not sure if it was an i or L).

Would be interested to know too.
Interesting. I'm beginning to think it denotes some type of special production run but who knows. I'm hoping some Glycine expert on this forum will read this and shed some light.

Possibly but I think it would be a strange looking M.
It's all about font and perspective ;) A fontain of perspective :D It looks like the letters on a child's eye exam chart.

I have 3 Combat Subs. PVD case-no E
Bronze case-no E
Stainless case has the E

Had it not been for this thread I wouldn't have noticed it in a million years.

I will now return to my regular programming.
Oh Wow, so I'm not the only who has a special E combat sub!!! 😂.
Is your E located in the same place as mine? Same lug?
