It is difficult to find these watches anymore! Are they belly up?
No they are very much alive and are being sold all over the internet. here is their official website:

http://www.zodiacwatches.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/HomeView?langId=-1&storeId=33054&catalogId=21504&N=0

and here is what I found on a google search for Zodiac:

Anyone know why it is so hard to find these watches now?
What are you looking for, a specific model? I don't think they are that hard to find. Some of the older models (Dragon Wing) have been discontinued, but many companies do the same thing.

zodiac watches are not hard to find.

here is the deal. Fossil owns Zodiac. they have moved them out of there fossil outlets and off of metro watch on ebay specifically to try and up the brand as being there more high end brand, and not have them discounted so much in outlets and DOD sites.

www.zodiacwatches.com

is alive and well.

Zodiacs can be found there, as well as www.worldofwatches.com

www.princetonwatches.com

www.promenadewatches.com

amongst many others.

certain models have been discontinued this year, As Marc said , the dragon wing being one of them and the Oceanaire and Deep Reef.

Thanks, mainly I was looking for the oceanaire or a diver type, but I found a few sites that have the black faced models in stock. I never owned any of these and was wondering how they are as far as build and reliability?

I have had two oceanaires in the past. Great dive watches. these originally sold in the past for $500, I paid way less than that for both of mine, but i would have paid more. They have a great design, almost vintage or seikoish, good auto movement, great bracelet or amazing rubber(depending on wich you pick), very strong lume, and it is a great size , about a true 46mm. I think you will be very happy with this purchase if you are into diver watches. let us know if you pick it up. good luck

one other thing, where do you get these watches serviced? If the movement is based an ETA it could be serviced by someone who knows ETA movements? Will the company service discontinued models? Thanks
zodiac has a service center in Texas, they have it listed in the back of the booklet that comes with the watches, its Metro Service Center, and ive had to use them before, and they were great, top notch customer service and no problems getting fixed what i had wrong.

The oceanaire uses the Claro CL888 automatic movement and they also use a lot of Ronda movements in their quartz watches.

Hi all,

As stated previously in this thread Zodiac is alive and well. Their focus is now on only high-end Swiss Made Men's watches. Their new fall releases will be posted on www.zodiacwatches.com on 10/15. We do occasionally carry discontinued and hard to find Zodiac models on our eBay store. If your looking for a Zodiac, let us know if we can help!

Best Regards,
Metro Watch Company

I think Zodiac went from making perhaps too many models to now, too few... Only rubber straps and no ladies watches... Boo! I'm down to only three now but the twothat have bracelets have really goodones! The wife also has a couple and one with a very nicebracelet which I will have her post soon...
