What is an imported post?

I always wondered about that too GPF. 😄

Honestly I am not sure, but they seem like posts that maybe
we’re from a different section of the forum which are moved
from a section, or even another time back a ways possibly.

Fantastic question !!!
Actualy I suspct that they are posts that were originally posted in the WatchUSeek.com watch forum some years ago as both forums appear to use the same basic forum software so I assume that they have a common origin.

Please post a screenshot example of an "imported post" that you are questioning.
Thanks

In the Age of Enlightenment before The Great Realignment there is forgotten lore that the Horological Seers once foretold of.

I see them from time to time...like Gary says, they might have something to do with forgotten lore...

Thanks for posting the screenshot. I was able to get to that thread and check out the post. Yep - that was a legacy link that was broken when platform migration occurred. It's reminder of the past I suppose and I would recommend just overlooking it. There is no action that we can perform to remove the broken links.

As for contests I am not aware of any coming in the near future - but we never rule it out ;)

Posts would not be imported from another forum. Each forum maintains their own separate identity even though they may belong to the same parent company and use the same software.
