I think its time to invest in a watch winder. What does everyone suggest for 6 watches? I want a quiet winder and something that will perform well and not too expensive.

SWI has a 4 head and an 8 head winder - i was selling an 8 awhile back - i would check SHOPNBC first cause they usually have great prices if they have them

second i would check WOW (worldofwatches.com)

the 8 head sells for about $600 there normally

the thing about this machine is that each head has its own settings and motors - so you can customize for each watch

also it is very high in quality and CS from WOW (Lior)

Yeah I was thinking about that one George. Something to think about..The funny thing is every time I go to buy one I wind up buying a watch and never get around to buying the winder....:%:%:%:%:%

it's well worth the money for the quality - i might go with a 4 head winder as it's cheaper (and smaller) and just keep the rest in a box and rotate them in & out of the winder as needed???

I recommend buying the Amazon two head winders for about $45. You can get three for $135 and replace them if they fail and still spend less then $600. I have two and one is about two years old ans still running fine.

Jack-

Just make sure you purchase one with 6 individual non-Chinese motors. Alot of these winders have 1 or 2 motors and they become quite noisy after a short amount time.
Great advice Rob..Thanx..would have not thought about that...Good lookin out bro..

yeah i just looked them up on amazon - you might want to do a review search once you narrow down a brand or model -then you'll get the best quality too!!

I just use several of the SWI single watch winders. I've got a few of them lined up underneath my display box, it takes up a little more space, but they're incredibly quiet and some of them came free with my watches.

I have the SWI 6-slot version of the one that George mentioned, and it's been flawless. I got it on a deal-a-day for $199, shipped . . .

That's a great deal. It is worth every penny of $199. Three cheapo dual slot winders would run you $135. Let me know if you ever see this deal again......

I have this same one but it's an 8 head that i won from George and I would tell everyone looking to get a larger winder, GO WITH THIS ONE!! It's an incredible winder and it's SUPER quiet!! It's not cheap but you get what you pay for when it comes to winders anyway. Again, THANKS GEORGE, I LOVE my new winder!!!!
