so, if you were able to work with a watch company on a new proposed model coming up, and have a say in the design, movt, etc..........what company would it be.

invicta, renato, chase durer, nfw, rolex, breigtling, omega, a small dive company.......who..

i personally think i would love to work with george fox.......the man has so many great ideas and i love the design of his watches, i think to be able to work side by side with him would be great..........

so , who would you like to work for.

I love all brands Don. I would love to work for Breitling hands down just because Breitling is my favorite watch company. I would love to get involved in designing a watch for them. It would be a very hard task since the attention to detail and quality is 2nd to none. I'm sure if i put my mind to it i would come up with a sick design for them but then again maybe not...lol...its very hard to improve perfection...

I think I would like to design for Invicta for 2 reasons.
1) I do already like many of their brands.
2) Since they put out SO SO many different styles, I think they would be open to some of the crazy design looks I might dream up!
Very old "drive-by" post!!!!!

I would work for Steinhart. Clean house, create better customer service and English speaking people who actually return phone calls and emails. I would also increase quality control to ensure lemon movements do not go out and disappoint customers.

This was a "drive-by" joke. Not actually commenting on this thread.

Man you have it very bad with Steinhart. I do like the idea of cleaning up house of a company that has done you wrong. :smile-thumb:

:smile-thumb2: Glad to see my "Drive By" moniker has stuck.

Easy one. I'd like to design for Marathon of Canada.

TV Dinner:
Have you seen the You Tube comparison of the 8926
and Citizen's Solar Atomic?

8926 Synched with Citizen at noon on Sun. At noon
on Mon 8926 +2 secs. Tues +2 1/2 secs. And 7 days later
8926 was +7 secs ahead. Not too bad fer a Victer IMO.

I have 2 pieces using the NH55/4R36 (same engine)
Both lose between 4 & 6 secs per week. Not to shabby
using 100+ year old technology. I'm not shouting Victer's
praises to the rooftops but for less than a hunnert dollars?
I've watches who were much less maligned for more bucks
that did no better, some even worse!!!
