Hello to all my WF friends!
My wife & I went out for a quick bite for lunch at a favorite deli of ours on December 23rd. It was very unseasonably warm (14 C) We live in Southern Ontario, Canada, in the Niagara region, about 45 minute drive from Niagara Falls.
Neither of us do any Christmas shopping during November or December. Not into that sort of crazy.
After a ham on rye & coffee, Sue went next door to pick up a few houshold items. I said "I'll meet you across the street in the watch shop", (our fav AD)
I had not been by the store in about 8 weeks.
When she arrived, I was trying on an IWC Aquatimer. She spotted 2 watches, 1st an Omega Constellation (quartz) & a sweet Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Duetto, manual wind.
I mentioned that we might consider geting a watch each. We both enjoy the hobby together. I chose the IWC. She just could not decide (no kidding!) Well, being a bit smarter than I look (which isn't saying much) I insisted she get both. No argument ensued. All 3 went home with us.
This brings our collection to 116 pieces. Always have bought new & have never sold one. May have to start to reconsider this (?)

That's my little story about a ham sandwich & coffee outing that ended with more than a full stomach. Sorry about the less than focused pics.

As I mentioned, it was 8 weeks since I was by the store.
I went in to buy my wife a watch for Christmas. That's for another day.
Cheers, Roarry.
