I can see this works...sometimes. My watches that I know are sapphire do bead and the mineral ones flatten. The sapphire "coated" will react like sapphire. Having gone through all of my flame fusion, some bead, some flatten...kind of mixed results. FF really just coating? And sometimes not consistent?
One guy on another forum also made a point...treat a mineral with Rain-X and its gonna bead
