Going with my nephew to tour the College of Charleston this Saturday and was wondering if there are any good places to check out watches. Also any eateries there that have a local feel? (I.E. not chains eateries)

i will be headed there soon...i won't be looking for watch stores because IMHO best tools are scored on line...plus when i shop i drop ( means i don't like foot shopping in brick & mortar)

i WILL BE looking to chow down on LOW COUNTRY food...shrimp,grits etc... i use TRIP ADVISER and like to slum it..(.gr8 food low prices)

have a fun -safe trip and let me know if you find good eats-cheap !

i will be visiting the historic section-

My beautiful wife is from Charleston, S.C. which is also where we met. For real old school Charleston eats you need to try Hymans. They have been there for 112 years.

Sorry I missed this. My parents retired to the Charleston area about 30 years ago. Love that area. Magnolias is a must! My absolute favorite. Humans is good but a bit of a tourist scene. Carolinas is also excellent if it's still there.
