I just received a call and the caller identified them self as being with ShopNBC and the credit card I am using did not go through. They just wanted me to check the details of my card with them. Well, I was a little groggy after taking my pain meds and it took me a couple minutes to clear my head. I told them that I have had no trouble with my account and everything has cleared my bank. They rattled off the last four digits of my Shop Credit Card. I do not have a Shop Card. Oh!, I mean your bank card. I paused and said I do not pay by credit or debit card. Before I could speak again, the man rattled off something then spotted that I use PayPal. His exact words were, "Oh this is a PayPal account" then I hear a click and the connection goes dead. I check my caller I.D. and it is a unknown number. They were phishing for my account information by giving me just enough information to think I was talking to the Shop.

BEWARE!!! BEWARE!! BEWARE!!

THEY PLAYED IT LIKE I NEEDED TO GIVE THEM THE INFORMATION OR I WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO BUY FROM THE SHOP ANYMORE!!

Thanks so much for the "heads up" Carl! I've had similar incidents (not with Shop) happen in the past. Ya just gotta be SOOOOOOOOOO careful in this world today. Thanks again buddy.

That basterd needs a 9mm in the head...Effin loser...I hope he gets what he deserves...I had someone steel my identity a week before thanksgiving and its no fun at all...constant problems and aggravation for no reason at all...glad you figured it out and thanks for posting.
