Yeah, I figured that. The reason I was asking is because I have a coworker who is also a huge fan. She and I would always compare notes the next day. Unfortunately she is a single Mom and her daughter ran into some health problems and she had to cancel her cable. I was trying to figure out a way for her to see the shows without it. She tried to watch online but it just buffered out on her and froze. Our schedules dont link up due to her daughter so she can't come over to watch it either.Nowadays that's pretty much non-existent. I used to record shows but now when all the high tech upgrades,, cable companies are preventing subscribers from being able to do that. I now have and love the DVR system which has a lot of options for just a few dollars more on the bill.
Thanks but I'm a friggin idiot when it comes to this stuff. I have a friend who is more adept at that stuff so maybe I will ask him.Do a search for "Streaming Video Recorder" software. They're out there. You can record it and copy it to a thumb drive for here. Read up on it. C/Net has them, it probably would cost a few bucks, but it might come in handy for yourself too. Anything can be done, because...internet.
But you didn't hear this from me.![]()
Thanks for the info guys. Sadly, she is still unable to watch it. Of course if there are many more episodes like last night, I may stop watching it as well.Just an idea:
If you subscribe to certain cable providers, you can use your account to log on to the AMC website to watch episodes of any series it carries.
And, if you have a tablet or laptop, you could go on AMC using that device then let your friend borrow it. That way, she wouldn't feel like she was siphoning off of someone else's account: technically, it's your cable account activated on your device.
I haven't seen the 3rd episode yet, but so far the new season has not disappointed!
I have to say, I can't wait to see the group finally get out of Alexandria. They need to put the Wolves in the ground, get outside the wire again, and keep moving!
ThanksHey Mudfoot.
I have the files, including last nights episode. I'm uploading to dropbox right now. I'll send you a PM with a download link in a couple of hours when it is done uploading.
Oh no ... this past weekend I finally caught up with episode 3, and boy did I NOT see all of that you-know-what hitting the fan! So I take it from your comment it doesn't get better in last night's episode? Thanks for the info guys. Sadly, she is still unable to watch it. On second thought, don't say anything. I'd rather be "surprised" ... I think!
Actually, I want to retract that statement. I had only watched 1/2 of the 90 minute episode. While it was slower than most it was a really profound episode and I came to appreciate it.Oh no ... this past weekend I finally caught up with episode 3, and boy did I NOT see all of that you-know-what hitting the fan!
