Vintage watch of the day - January 2017

I will kick this off. I am sure some members here are familiar with doing this. I am new to this forum and have not finished exploring yet. For those not familiar with this type of post, it gives you the chance to show off the vintage watch you are wearing for the day. I was looking at it seems like the vintage section seems kind of slow and I love vintage...heck I live in vintage threads lol

Today I have on my new arrival. A Ernest Borel Chronometre that appears to be free sprung. The movement is a serial numbered (Borel only numbered their chronometer movements) FHF 26 or 27. I have not measured the movement yet.

From 1958-1961 Timex made some aluminum cased watches, so this beauty is at least 55 years old and still ticking! New Year, Old Watches.....

The LeCoultre Futurematic, circa 1953, automatic, no handwind, hackable, backset crown, 17 Jewel, bumper automatic calibre 497, silver satin 'Owl eye' dial. Yummy....New Year, Old Watches!

Tissot Sea-Star Automatic, 1974. The movement is a Tissot 2481 automatic (hand wind but no hack) which is the same as an Omega 1481. Slate Blue Dial. New Year, Old Watches!

1957 Hamilton K-456, 17 Jewel automatic 660 (KF28.45), 14Kt gold numerals, 60 years old....list price in 1957 was $95. ($800 today) New Year, Old watches.....
