Hi All

Its been a while since I posted pics of my Made in Australia piece.

No not the growing number of kickstarter-esque, "We drew something in my mate's office in Melbourne/Perth/Sydney/Brisbane/The Outback and got some guys with a factory in china to build it and print 'Made in Australia' on it for us"

No these guys have an actual factory which takes raw materials and turns them in to watch parts, and then a workshop where those parts, plus some specialised imported custom bits like crystals, springs and dials are assembled into an actual watch.

Mine now has its custom skeletonised ratchet wheel, so she's got my name on him!

Bonus is that you now get to see the perlage!

Their new stuff is their damascus processed titanium which looks amazing in real life.

I'm pestering Nick to upgrade mine from gold plated brass inside his titanium case to the "timascus" plates, but he's busy building full watches at the moment, so that might be a while.

There's also a video on their machinery that's 27 minutes of fascination.

Hey Reg, it's terrific to see you ! :smile-thumb: :smile1:

It's pretty phenomenal seeing this watch here too, and the
level of craftsmanship, and just imagination with it as well.
Love the beautiful pattern, along with gold, and blue in those
videos ! :cool2:

You just don't see this every day, and it makes already
beautiful looking watches that much more impressive,
as well as unique. ..Breathtaking stuff !

Thanks a ton for sharing. Nick evidently does such an
amazing job !!! :) ..P.S. Have to check the longer video
out a little later.

Well, for those of you without half an hour to spare, here's a two minute video that they've just released.

It also shows a couple of their new machines.
