TX Watches - http://www.txwatches.com/ (extremely cool website)

Cool features page - http://www.txwatches.com/innovation.html

I have liked this brand for a while. Many of their models appeal to me including the ones I show below.

ABOUT TX WATCHES
Beautiful. Innovative. Forward Thinking.

Through The Lens of Style and Design, TX Delivers Technology Beyond Expectation

The TX Watch collection is a dynamic fusion of time, form and function, with each series combining precisely engineered instrumentation with uncompromising style.
Evoking a spirit of optimum performance and authenticity, TX watches simplify time management for the world traveler and those who aspire to be.

Developed for over five years, TX is a synthesis of technology and design creating a platform unique to the industry and as individual as the collection itself. From the first ever quartz analog Perpetual Weekly Calendar, to the revolutionary vertical hand of the Linear Chronograph, TX offers patented proprietary movements unavailable anywhere else in the world.

Each timepiece contains four motors, operating independently of each other. One motor drives the hour, minute and second hands, while three bi-directional motors are dedicated to the additional functions. Combined with visionary design, the result is precise, innovative and reliable technology that is easy to use. TX watches feature superior quality materials including premium sapphire crystals, sculpted dials, finely crafted hands, supreme leathers, precisely etched case backs and intricately molded crowns.

Launched in 2005, TX watches is a fusion of American innovation, German engineering and Italian design creating uncompromisingly unique timepieces. Designed for those with an adventurous spirit, the barrier breaking technology found in its patented proprietary movements combine with intuitive, user-friendly design to push the limits of time.

Personally I LOVE the new 47mm Blackout 600 Chrono. It looks like this -

But I also enjoy many of their other watches like the 700 series

and many others.

Worth checking out.

That first watch would be GREAT if it was 50mm and had a bracelet!!! WOW
I love it also and hope to actually see it in person soon.

I have heard it is a large 47mm in person and with the crown around 51mm total.

I received my TX watch today and have to be honest about it. See post 3 above to see the model I got

1) It is an amazing watch. The features are vast and it is truly a fine time piece. The dial and face are stunning and have a lot of positive features. The LUM is very bright. The packaging is first class and very stylish (much more then other brands)

2) The rubber strap is the most comfortable rubber strap I have ever worn, including all Zodiac watches. This feels almost like a bracelet and has one of the most sturdy buckles I have seen.

3) The problem is that it is just to small. It wears "smaller" then it's listed size due to the shape of the case and the curve of the rubber strap. I am sure many people would love this watch beyond question and it would be a "large" watch for them, but for me it just wont get worn.

I believe I have a private buyer who works with me so it will probably be gone quickly. If not I will be selling it here. It is a very very nice watch, just not for me.

Amazing how you can be totally excited about receiving a watch, and then you have that let down moment.

I will say that TX watches clearly make VERY HIGH QUALITY watches and if you are happy with 44-46mm size you will love them.

I am sorry to hear that James it looks like a great piece but I do understand about one aspect causing a let down. At the very least you tried it versus always wondering.

I had seen them already at a store here in the Houston area...a jewelry store near me carries them. They looked nice, but wear small. Kind of like my Helix..looks nice but wears small. I like myHelix alot though...as it is a great beater watch. I am using it when Iplay golf...its a perfect sports watch...which is what it is anyway. It also gets worn when I work outdoors in my garden...with a screw down crown, I don't worry about it getting wet when I ampressure washing the porch or the driveway.
that is exactly how I felt, sadly.

Thanks for the Update. I have been looking at TX for some time, but just don't spring for Qtz watches that often.

My problem these days is a Shrinking Wrist. Have 7.25" Smallish wrist destined to be smaller in the future due to weight loss for health reasons. I find Mariann Chases 40mm Chronos from years ago are a great fit. Imagine that. 47mm just about does it on the other end. Anything larger is Clownish, uncomfortable, and looks like a pizza on my arm!

These may be a good fit. Thanks again.

Clark in Seattle.
Clark - my opinion on TX watches has gone back and forth. A year or so ago I got a 300 model on rubber and it really really wore smaller then the listed size. I was not happy and sold it.

Recently I picked up a 700 series on a full bracelet and I am VERY VERY happy with it. It screams well made and is a super nice watch. I agree that these can be pricey quartz watches, but with all of the features they pack into each of these I consider them almost hybrid watches. You can see full thread on this model I got here - http://www.watchfreeks.com/view_topic.php?id=11753&forum_id=32

hahaha - my "let down" experience led me about a year later to the TX 730 series I posted above! I love the TX I have now!

Can't wait to see yours when you get it.

I recently bought 3 TX watches. Two fly backs with the compass and one perpetual calendar. I thought these were really nice looking and well built and was planning on getting more.
One of the fly backs has a broken screw where the lugs are. It is new and only worn three times for a couple of hours and nothing happened to break this screw off. I called the number, that TX lists as it's customer service, for 3 days and no one would pick up the phone and there was no answering machine, I then sent a frustrated email. It took about 3 days for them to answer. The email said that their technicians don't answer the phones. They also said they would send me a mailer for the watch, but did not ask for an address. I responded to the email but it returned as undeliverable, so I had to go back to the customer service email and re-capped the emails we had exchanged earlier and told them that I would not need a mailer, I just wanted to get the watch to them quickly and have it fixed and returned quickly. In 2 days I got a reply telling me the address to ship it to and they said it would cost me to repair.

Invicta Flash Back. PTSD of Invicta service.

I'm a little too mad right now to respond back to them, but I'm thinking about just having it fixed locally and never purchasing a TX watch again.

Has anyone else had a problem with the TX service?

I started the communication with TX before the 30 day mark, now since it is past 30 days, because they stalled, I can't return it to the store I got it from.
I believe I have heard that the TX line/brand, which was launched in 2006 originally, is done and being discontinued. Another casualty of the down economy. I do love the 730 I have currently and posted in this thread, but do not see buying any more unless they are steep steep discounts due to liquidation of the models.
