Thanks Tom,my problem now is that I love the Black Bay 58 so much It is hard to find "wrist time" for my other watches. The Hruodland has been banished to it's box and the Cronos is mostly used a desk clock on my bedside table. The Tudor goes on my wrist every morning and I just take it off when I go to sleep. That old saying comes to mind with this True, which is 'less is more' !
Honestly is one heck of a hat trick of watches really, and each one
has it's own terrific personality !!! 🙂😎😀Actually would be a fine
collection of watches in itself, but you got all of them within a year !
You must have been really good this year sir. 🎅
Thanks a ton for sharing them with us, as well as your passion !!!
Don't mention it. 🙂 The thanks actually goes to YOU True ! 😉😎Thanks Tom,my problem now is that I love the Black Bay 58 so much It is hard to find "wrist time" for my other watches. I found an interesting arcticle about Tudor/Rolex history that I thought you might enjoy reading.

The Age-Old Question: Rolex vs. Tudor - Bob's Watches
Tudor's latest watches all feature in-house movements, which has helped to reignite the age-old Rolex vs. Tudor question that has existed for decades.www.bobswatches.com
Don't mention it. 🙂 The thanks actually goes to YOU True ! 😉😎
Yup, can see how this would happen with the Black Bay honestly sir.
It's one of those watches that is a actually a collection in itself. So cool
it's not even funny, and so special, you really don't want to take it off.
All of it totally makes sense to tell the truth. It's an awesome watch,
along with company too. So it's natural that you want to enjoy !
I bet the other watches don't even mind. ..They are happy for you,
and to have the Black Bay with them in the collection ! 😄
P.S. Loved that article by the way. Although I had known Tudor
was part of Rolex. I am not sure I knew about Hans Wilsdorf, or
his huge impact with both companies. And now all these years
later, Tudor is doing what he always wanted it to do. It's terrific !
Thanks once again sir ! Fantastic !!!
Thanks Tom! Wish that I could own both but since used Rolex Submariners are selling for over $8,000 I would never be able to actually own both and If I had to choose between the them I would still rather have the Black Bay 58 because it is much closer in looks to the original Submariners made in the 50s.My pleasure True. 😉
Yeah, it really is like a bridge like you said between the vintage,
and the modern, and honestly it's perfection right?! 🙂😎 There
is literally nothing not to like about it, or both of these. They tick
all the boxes, and even some extra ones if that's possible. 😄
Imagine having both of these sir?!! ..Would be a dream !!
Have to thank you again True !!!
You are very welcome, and you know True, it actually works outThanks Tom! Thanks Tom,check this out:You are very welcome, and you know True, it actually works out
perfect when you think about it. In having the Black Bay by itself
I mean. Because as you said, it’s the watch that looks most like
those ultra cool 50’s Subs.![]()
Then, you never know, at some
point down the road you just might add that Rolex. Or if not that,
then another version of the Black Bay. 😀
The Black Bay 58 is the closest I will ever come to owning one of those classics. It's funny how the reviewer's one complaint is about the watch is the gold on the dial and bezel. That is one one of the things I like best about the 58!

Thanks Tom! Here is a 1972 Tudor Submariner at a local jewelry storeTotally enjoyed it True, and learned that I really need to learn
more about both Rolex, and Tudor.I mean I have read
an awful lot about both of them over the years, and seen so
many wonderful watches from them. However, I need to brush
up their histories. 😄😀 Just is terrific sir !!!
Thank YOU, and yes, love the touches of gold on the watch as
well True ! 😉 It makes the watch even more dynamic honestly.
Thanks for the GQ read on Tudor. I love the look of the gold on the 58 and others but when I put one on it doesn't look right on me. Your's looks great True, and it should be a sound piece for life. The Black Bay 58 is the closest I will ever come to owning one of those classics. Thanks AranaWhite,I love this watch and have worn it everyday since I got it. It's a shame I don't get to wear my other watches but I do use the Cronos as a nightlight on my beside table. Thanks for the GQ read on Tudor.
