I just don't get why everybody loves Tudor.

I've looked at them over & over & to my eye they are just plain boring and derivative in design.

Go the IWC, it is a better watch by far, exudes style.

Man that's nice looking.

Whilst I think both watches would be welcomed in many collections my personal choice would be the IWC.

I just prefer additional design work to these over the classic design of the Tudor. But, I wish to throw my personal choice of Aquatimer in the IWC Aquatimer CHRONO Edition Jacques-Yves COUSTEAU. Just love this colour comfiguration:

I also owned the oris Titan TT1, that was my first experience with a titanium watch. I had it for a week. I couldn't get over how light and cheap it felt. I absolutely loved the way the watch looked. The bezel was one of the best I've seen. But I just couldn't get past the light weighted feel of the watch. The size, look, design perfect, but only if it were SS.
Would you know how Titanium is graded?

I have 2 Titanium watches, one is the Citizen Blue Angel Chrono and the other is a Revue Thommen Airspeed Chrono. The Revue Thommen is smaller overall but feels slightly more heavy. Both are a joy to wear.

Just wondering about the Titanium grading...

Went to an AD today and had the opportunity to handle both of these beauties in the metal. I went in convinced the Pelagos was for me but came out leaning towards the IWC (pics do not do this one justice) Both brands I would be happy to have in my collection

Hoping you guys can chime in with your IMHO's and maybe help my decision or possibly make it worse:confused:......

These are both priced relatively close (used market) both considered serious divers, let me know what you think

Tudor Pelagos

IWC Aquatimer 2000

Tudor is a Rolex make so if you want a lower priced Rolex go for the Tudor

I've owned the Pelagos and was very happy and the closest to the IWC Aquatimer I've had was the Galapagos Chrono....

The Pelagos was more versatile but less exciting if that makes sense.
The IWC was limited on strap but, oh my, what a stunning watch.

Very perplexing WFs.
Both are nicer than nice for a fact.
I always wanted to own an IWC.
But the Tudor isn't chopped liver!!!

Better pour me a big ole glass of
Ice tea and muse on this issue!
Gonna be a long ole Texas day.

Pelagos

My Pelagos has been in Rolex service for close to 2 months, due to ship out today. It kept time that was no where near COSC standards for a chronometer.
I also find it way too thick. Will put it on the market as soon as it arrives.
