Hey everyone, did you happen to see Timex's new Navi XL Automatic
already?

The watch is the first of multiple upcoming versions. Having specs like
a 41mm stainless steel case, 100m WR, unidirectional rotating bezel,
classy green dial with luminous hands, and markers, Miyota automatic
movement, and brown leather strap also.

Have a few pictures right here...

It's nice to see Timex going in this direction. Nice watch ... I guess. Nothing really new here. Timex (along with many others) playing it safe. A bit boring imo.
Thanks Tom! You da man!

I agree, and at the same time I think that is kind of their marketing plan. They make cheaper/budget watches, and I'm sure have no plans to go high end with the Timex brand. However, they want to expand their customer base by offering some options that seem like a nice step up by offering mechanical. I like it. Good move, and I think they've been moving in the right direction for a while!

I am so glad the somebody finally did something different to a Mercedes hand set. A small change makes a world of difference. The old Radium thing continues on. But their lume is so bad it actually looks like old Radium. Cheap Miyota movement and leather strap should have kept the price down. It is what it is. Should be closer to $160 imo. Guess if I want a cheap diver, I'll buy Invicta. They blow this thing away...

Yup, have to agree guys about Timex moving in the right direction. :thumb:
They have been doing some neat things in recent years. But it's so
funny though with the price like Forza pointed out. ..I mean years
ago, Timex was the ultimate bang for your buck. However, now the
price seems to be just o.k., or maybe even overpriced for what you
get.

Just really think if these were a fraction of the cost they would be
a real home run. In any case, still are cool to see I guess. :)
