You are very welcome Strapsmith. (y)

You are not alone in the not caring for date windows I don’t think. 😉
A lot of people don’t like them, and on a field watch you just really
want as clean, and simple of a dial as possible for the most part.
I totally get it sir.

And really want to thank you for giving your thoughts on these !!!

I think all of my watches have date windows, although I am starting to lean towards wanting some without them. Funny thing though seeing a Timex Expedition "north" of $300. Almost $350. I used to wear Timex Expeditions with Indiglo as my outdoor beater when camping, and they usually cost me around $50. Funny thing is, with a titanium bead blasted case, sapphire crystal, a Miyota movement, and a leather strap, a Chinese brand would sell the same watch for at least $100 less. I know Timex takes a licking and keeps on ticking, but it's supposed to be an everyman's watch brand.

A Chinese watch that’s titanium, sapphire, Miyota auto costing $250 probably doesn’t exist, but if it did, I’m sure you could tell where the $100 went on the Timex.

It’s another excellent point Gary. 🙂 And it’s something that we have
seen with Seiko as well come to think of it. Where the prices seem to
stealthily creep upwards on more, and more watches. ..Leaving a lot
of their fans in the rear view mirror as they move down the higher price
highway right?!

As a whole it’s an annoying trend for sure. But as long as the brands
still end up keeping their more reasonably priced watches, or variations
of watches like these, then it’s at least bearable imho.

For example, Timex has a solar version of these that’s about 1/3 of
the price, as well as stainless automatic version that’s about $100
less. So the pricing seems to do with the Titanium factor for the most
part with these I guess sir. But you make some really great points that
is for sure. (y)(y)

Thanks so much for making them !!!

I agree that the date window would be a welcome elimination, as well as the "titanium" text on the dial, the latter of which is already etched into the case back, should one need proof.

Overall it’s just impressive to watch Timex making more and more eye
opening watches like this right guys?! 🙂 ..And although the less is
more theme is usually what helps make a field watch more attractive.
Honestly, it’s just very nice to see something this cool from Timex in
general imho.

I cannot thank you guys enough for giving your two cents !!! (y)(y)

So like... dude. Timex is on a roll here.
I gave up on Timex when I started getting into "real' time pieces.
Way to go Timex. This one looks great.

Totally man. 😊😀 I’m with you, and honestly they have been on quite
a run now for several years now. (y) It’s actually tough keeping up with
everything they have been doing. But it’s definitely been fun to watch.

As was hearing what you had and have to say Vladdy !

Thanks a bunch for chiming in !!!

I was lucky to grab one of the limited edition Frankenstein collaboration’s with James Brand and Timex . The lightness and easy to read face is great , the strap has become comfortable after some wear . It’s a great timepiece . Timex stepped up , and the price is still white collar. IMOP .

Oh boy, that IS just beautiful to tell the truth 1stiski ! 😲😎

These are even nicer than the Expeditions that here above sir. 🥇
You can see that they really are ultra clean dial wise, and easy
to read as you said. And that’s refreshing all by itself, plus let’s
face it the combination is field watch perfection. Because the
style of the markers, and hands are exceptional, and then you
have the beautiful white dial ! ..Add in the amazing Titanium
finish which takes your breath away and wow, crazy cool ! 😀

And let’s not forget that light weight you mentioned sir. ..That’s
got to be a blast to experience, and on such a great strap too.
Sending off a really TERRIFIC Timex congrats 2 U here !!!
