Not making any New Years resolutions because I get disappointed when I don't keep them.

Oh, I guess this is a resolution.

Damn, now I'm disappointed.

I'm not crazy about the concept of making resolutions...My theory is that if someone is sincere in their resolve to do something it should be something that is "worked on" everyday not a statement one day a year to do a better job, whatever that "job" is...That's why I compare it to Valentines Day...Buy your love flowers, candy, a trinket, etc.throughout the year, not just on Febuary 14...These are things that should be thought of EVERYDAY.

What is your New Year's resolution?
I have a few -

1) In the gym more. already there 2-3 times a week but needs to be 3-5 times a week
2) Eat better. I love and sometimes live for food (that is why I am in the gym each week, lol). I know exactly what I over eat or eat wrong and need to control it ... and will.
3) Get my finances under control and make sure day care for 2 kids and other essential bills are EASILY covered and not "barely" covered. Important one.

that is a good start for me, lol

This year I am going to............be busy as hell getting the new business rolling.
I believe that I have pretty good perspective on things normally and do not regularly make resolutions being that if I'm not already doing it I probably will not later:b

Get back into my regular work out routine which after moving to Chicago went to crap....

Already hired a trainer and got the ball rolling last week....Brings back fond memories of last trainer I had in AZ, being sore in places that I didnt know existed...

Like last years unsuccessful resolution, I'm going to try to cut down on my swearing.

I would also like to increase the amount of money going into my 401k.

Spend more time, next summer, out on the deck. Relaxing.

Last, but not least, I'm going to learn how to Tango.

Only Resolution:

Get a Ball or a Breitling. Maybe both. And cut down on impulse buys I can't "flip" for a short-term profit. Those are the only two I'll consider paying more than a "firesale" price on...

My financial stupidity, fatness and major character defects are livable as long as I have a Navitimer and/or Hydrocarbon handy...
