Hamlin Stainless Steel Ultra Thin

Who really knows why a watch speaks to you? God knows I have enough watches already but this one caught my eye and I pulled the trigger. It arrived today and it's in very good condition! I've never heard of Hamlin and I didn't pay very much for this watch...under $30.00. Anyway...I like it and that's what really matters... It's very thin and I think it's about 42mm. It's working and keeping good time and it's feather lite on the wrist.

I will have a few wrist shots soon...thanks for viewing my newest beater watch.

Indeed they do work and it's very comfortable. It's certainty not my prized possession but it caught my eye and I like it. It should make a good grab and go watch.

If that is the case, it is indeed a steal, nice grab! For that price I have to assume it's a quartz?

Yup,it's a Jap quartz,I have about 4 beater watches that I wear on the farm. The farm has grown smaller over the years,we once had 80 acres of cherrie trees and sun flowers for seed but due to my advancing age,most of it has been sold off at a very high profit! I no longer have to worry about an early freeze..

On the one hand it's kind of vintage looking, but then there's a supercharging of modern with the lug style, and even finish of the case. Thanks AT...something just spoke to me about this watch and at that price,I knew I couldn't go wrong. Never heard of Hamlin but I can tell you this...it's a brand that I would consider again...:clapping-hands-abov
