Saw the trailer just a few days ago Steve, and Eric. 👀 🤯 It really does
look like it's going to be great, and go in a few different directions too ! (y)(y)
Also can't wait to see it, and what's in store for us. I hope the time goes
fast so October gets here quick. 😀

P.S. Have you heard? Or seen the rumors where Pedro Pascal may have
possibly left/quit the show during the making of the season?

No I hadn't heard that?!? Well he is only seen in one show and they don't really need to ever show him again, to be honest, I was surprised they ever showed him at all?

And again to be honest he wasn't what I was expecting at all...

Hopefully it's just a rumor, and untrue. But it seems the story is actually
connected to showing him. In that he wants to have more scenes without
the helmet on. But evidently just like you were kind of saying above. The
creators, and probably fans too, enjoy the mystery, and mystique of the
helmet, and everything. 😎

Still am hoping it is all just rumors. But didn't know if you, and everyone
had heard the story. (y) I know John Wayne's grandson Brendan Wayne
is also under the armor as well. Which is really cool. 🙂

Really? John Wayne's grandson? That is cool! I just love The Duke! I watch the 1966 film "El Dorado" almost every night with my 82-year-old mother who adores John Wayne!!! "El Dorado" is her bedtime movie! It's either that or the 1959 film "Rio Bravo"... :^)

Yup, you have Brendan Wayne, also Lateef Crowder who are underneath
the Mandalorian armor at different times. (y) (y)

P.S. I need to check out some more John Wayne movies. Am embarrassed
to admit it, but have only really seen a lot of bits, and pieces of his movies.
El Dorado sounds like a good start ! 🙂

John Wayne... The Quiet Man with Maureen O’Hara, The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance, True Grit, The Searchers are all good. He made a lot of movies with John Ford and Howard Hawks.

The Searchers is worth experiencing.
Wow, thanks so much Steve, Gary, and Eric !!! 😉😉😉 It will be great checking
them out I think. Have always liked westerns actually, but guess maybe John Wayne
was just a little before my time. Because I have seen every one of Clint Eastwood's
westerns, and basically every western since. (y)(y)

One thing I remember in just seeing a few snippets here, and there, was that the
quality, and scope of the movies seemed amazing. So thanks again for all of the
cool recommendations guys. Really appreciate it !

The Duke made movies up to his last film "The Shootist" in 1976...

Dido and dbl, frankly would rather not have seen him. Mr. Wayne and Eastwood in westerns were before me, but there be the classics that BlockBuster Video and "cable" introduced me to.
