I am sure it has happened to many of us and it happened to me today (see http://www.watchfreeks.com/view_post.php?post_id=19516 ). The "let down" when receiving a watch you had wanted BAD.
  • You had the watch on your "wish list".
  • You had done your research on the watch and read everything you could find about the brand, watch, history, etc.
  • You had looked at countless pictures on every site.
You WANTED the watch! You had to have the watch! And then you bought it / traded for it / was given it as a gift / or just found it on the street....

But when it arrived ...... THE LET DOWN. It was not everything you had built it up to be. For whatever reason you just knew it was not right for you. You can feel the initial excitement you had hoped for literally seep out of you through your gut.

Who has dealt with this type of disappointment and what did you do. Post your experiences...

The Prowler. I HAD to have this watch after seeing it online and a couple of quick glances in the display at a local AD. I was able to trade for one and when I wore very small, diameter-wise, and the bracelet was too narrow for my liking. It sat in the watchbox for 4 months until I traded it away. It's a cool design; I just wish they would kick it up to 48-50mm with a 26-28mm bracelet. I would be all over it.

You and I have discussed this at the other forum Rip. Since Invicta seems to be on this re-tooling kick, I would think that they would dig in the crates, so to speak, and bring back some oldies but goodies, reincarnated.

Sorry about that Randy. The TX series looks pretty cool. What was it that you didn't like? Size, construction?
