Did we cover the Grand Seiko 'Seasons' Collection guys? Just seeing them.

Seems like there are four watches, and dial designs for each of the seasons.
Including a cool Winter Gray for the Winter, a Cheery Blossom Pink for the
Spring, a Summer Green for Summer, and a Moonlit Blue for the Fall. With
just some of the other details including sharp looking hands, and applied
markers, 40mm titanium case, 100m WR, titanium, or stainless bracelets,
and the hi-Beat 9S85, or 9R65 Spring Drive movements.

Just a few pictures...

The Spring Drive GS (and HB for that matter) is a serious watch in any language and these US release models are just terrific with a choice of fabulous dials and incredible mechanics. Gorgeous timepieces.
While they appear rather pricey, they are a relatively good deal imo when compared to an equivalent Rolex, L&S, NOMOS et al.
Thanks AT

Don't mention it sir ! :thumb: You know it's such a neat point you make. ..I mean
there is so much going on with these watch making wise, and technology wise
it's unbelievable. :clap2: ..So even though the price is out of this world, the bang
for the buck is as well actually. It's seems funny to say, but you are so right
Steve !

A very high level of finish and even though I generally don't like textured dials, this exudes a very high end feel. To me anyway.

Too bad I don't like power meters, particularly on an otherwise uncluttered, classic dial and handset. I'd prefer to forego that meter, since I assume it can't be relocated to a more aesthetically balanced position on the dial. I'm thinking above the 6 o'clock marker, centered, a foldable fan sort of look ;)

"I luv the sound of GS in the morning" Apocalypse Now.

You know that is a neat observation about the dial, and the power meter
Enricosonic ! :thumb: If it was moved, or even turned on it's side like you are
showing with the fan. It would blend in a lot more. Wow, am imagining it
now actually. Very cool !!!

So glad you are liking these as well Art ! :) It's something how Seiko seems
to out do themselves every time they come out with a new model right?!!

I got a Snowflake last month. I love these. The two Spring Drive models won’t find their way into my collection because my Snowflake makes them superfluous. Now that Peacock Hi Beat...she’s a possibility.

In that regard, would everyone send my lovely wife an email, imploring her to let me add another Grand Seiko to my collection?

I would focus on the jewelry and art aspect of the watches. It might help to also pick up a new ring with princess cut stones for her in a multiple stone setting. That usually softens up any discussion of a new, additional Grand Seiko. No doubt both are luxury items ... but you both deserve them! Good luck!

I generally just purchase and suffer the wrath afterwards, not advisable though.
