I was about $50 bucks short from the Seiko SRP637 that I want badly when I checked watchrecon and saw this Juggernaut II for just $220 shipped from a trusted seller. A little more and I couldn't afford it.

I unwrapped it last night after work and this is the only pic I took.

Really impressed by this Juggernaut II. I had a few 1st generation Juggy's including the blue auto version and yellow and always loved the wave dials.

The sapphire bezel inlay brings it up a notch and it has the same engine as my Viking, 9015, but the crown action feels a bit nicer. This is a bit bigger but wears slightly more comfortable than the Viking, on my 8.25in wrist.

Always liked the DB symbol on lugs, crown and helium release. Very nice touch !

It wears big at 46mm but it's super comfy cus of the case curvature. Almost like it's not there.

Took it down to a tiny Zoo in Micke Groove

Followed by disc golf right next door to zoo.

A fantastic bang for the buck for $220. An oldie but goodie. Maybe 5 to 7 years old? I don't remember when these came out on TV.

Thanks for viewing.

Thanks a lot, #four ! Very happy I couldn't afford the Tuna Monster I badly want. Never had time to post some straps I have and I bike I never use on Craigslist so it was meant to be to not own that sweet Seiko that keeps eluding me. Can't believe how comfy it feels on the wrist.

Luis:
Ain't DB great? I have 2 of em. The 1,000 meter AppDvr and a Timer
with Seiko Vx43 and Miyota Os 20 movements respectively.
Both approach COSC standards. Luv em both. Both on matching NATO
G10 straps. But Eli did mount a neoprene strap at the sale of the Timer.

Congrats on the watch.

Looks terrific Luis ! :) Boy oh boy, these watches look unbelievable whether it's day, or night !!! Just the look of this bezel, and dial together is something to see. It's like Deep Blue perfected the modern day dive watch design. The looks seem to be only be matched by the quality, and construction. Really is phenomenal sir. What a great get ! Huge congrats to you there !

Thanks a lot, everybody !
I wore the Frogman all day to work but strapped the Juggy on immediately after getting home. Seems to be keeping great time. Which makes me wonder, when should I try to service this watch ? Just cus it keeps great time, doesn't mean it couldn't use it, does it? I have no clue. Never serviced a watch. I just assume enough time have passed from when this watch was built til now???

Really surprised at how comfy this beastly watch is.
