Hey freeks,

Following that post on "Feiko's" {fake seiko's for thoses who didnt see it}, and a rather blatant remake of a recent divers by parnis . I found this "beauty" while searching for seiko divers watches on Fleabay.

These lovely watches are vaguely water resistant , and boast chinese made japanese quartz movements that keep time-ishly . These lovely Norsk watches display the staging place for the most recent olympics "london" on their dial where a dive rating would go, further muddying the waters as to who exactly is to blame for the watch . Enjoy !

Wish Seiko still made the SKX031/33. Great little watches.

Agreed. I love mine.

Over the years I've had a few. Including a couple of the Dagaz Milsubs and an awesome 31MAS from Loy's. Tinkering with Seikos is a lot of fun.

Had one modded for my old man's 70th last year. Bead blasted with Dagaz bits and a Yobokies Hammer bracelet. Best part is the superdome sapphire from Jake though. That thing's mesmerizing.
He sure does love that watch.

Look I think it's great that there are purest out there that have a deep love and appreciation for original expensive watches. That's great, it really is, but anyone that has a problem with knockoff watches especially these Norske watches seriously has far greater issues in life. You really need to get your head screwed on right. You're certainly not half the man(person) the guy that had these watches made as a gift, out of his own pocket to give to medal winners from Norway. What an unselfish, generous, kind gesture. That's it and that's all.

Albert Einstein once said that the single greatest question we will ever answer in our lifetimes is do I live in a kind friendly world or an angry hostile one? It's your choice. The starter of this thread obviously chose the latter of the two. Life must really suck for him and all of his expensive watches.

You do know that this thread is from 2013 and that the links don't work any more? This is a zombie thread. Angry hostile? Read your own reply please. Yes, I was peckish so I took the bait :)

I came here to learn……
I don't understand how during web searches people find elderly threads, ignores origin dates, then proceed to judge those who shall never hear said judgement.

At least there aren't any clickable links to something being sold.

norsk fan

I appear to be the only one in this entire thread who actually owns a norsk. I've had it nearly a year and I love it. It keeps perfect time and is beautiful.
It is obviously similar to the Seiko Monster but I find several differences. I have swam with it many times and it's waterproof. (no diving for me)
I always find it funny that people give so much hate to homages when Seiko themselves has an amazing Rolex Submariner homage.
I used to own the Orange dial London games version. I have to say people, dont hate on something until you try it. the build quality was very good, the bezel action was better than Seiko, and the NH ran great. was it the best Homage out there? No, but there are much worse available.
Old thread or not, people are still talking about this. this is a discussion forum, so if you dont want people discussing old threads, then lock them.
