I have a couple of tats, and back in the day my ear was pierced, but not into the earing thing. I am not real big into tats, I think they are cool but not overly interested in seeing them all of the time!

I have my ears pierced (2 in left, one in right).

I have a scorpion tattooed on my right forearm and a cobra tattooed on my left shoulder.

I had my left ear pierced when I was MUCH younger. That didn't last long (the piercing, not me being younger).

Left ear August 2008 to celebrate my 60th birthday. Put a nice 1/4 diamond in it. I collect Gems. My passion for gems is as deep as it is for watches. I have thousand and thousands of loose stones all in display jar/cases. I make my own jewelry as I need it. Buy the findings on-line or from my wholesaler. I like to make earrings and pendants to give away to all the pretty woman out there.

I had 3 earings at one time ( 2 in the left and 1 in the right) but all I wear now is 1 in the left. I just finished my arm with a band around my arm and connects to the word FOREVER drawn out by me and touched up by the artist( because I am not one..lol) and added my wife's name and daughters name above and below the word.

I agree with you. Personally I would never get a tattoo or a piercing. Like Tera-Ram I don't have problems with people who do, but it's not for me either. I think they would look silly on me.
