Good evening everyone

Today I picked up a new watch from my local jeweler that I Purchased a week ago. This is a preowned watch. The watchmaker said he would do the servicing and put a new battery in when I purchased it. It was ready today. I have done business with this watchmaker for probably 10 years now. He is also giving me one year warranty on the watch.
It is a Tag Heuer Formula 1 Grand Date 1010.ERJ4577.

Does anyone know anything about the actual model of the watch ERJ4577. I have not been able to find that exact model on the Internet.

Here is a picture

Not sure what info you are looking for but you've got yourself a nice sporty watch that should serve you well.

TAG use/d good quartz movements in their F1 range, the earlier models having the Ronda movement. Your particular model is most likely driven by an ETA quartz.

Enjoy that one

Thank you very much for your comment and your information. This is the type of information I was fishing for. Approximately when this particular model was made and what movement is in this particular model. I definitely have been able to look up the information on the Ronda 5040B movement. I am not familiar with the ETA quartz movement. I will try to look this up.

K5MOW:
Daughter has 2 Tag Heuer F1's.
She brought me one of them because it had stopped running.
Took it to Vintage Treasure watch shop. Mr Cook the proprietor
told me it wasn't the battery. The component that secures the
battery had a separated solder joint. Cook resoldered the conn
and Tag is as good as ever!
Thing is Mr Cook only charged $8.00 (less than the cost of the
battery!!) He could've gouged me.

BTW this is KA5DCO (or used to be) I bored of doing QSL with
other Hams. Only kept my 2 meter Wilson Handi Talkie. And
seldom use it with cell phones being so prominent.

Very nice you were able to get it running for such a small amount of money. I am very active in the amateur radio hobby. I am frequently on 20 meters, 2 meaters, 440 repeaters, IRLP Node and Allstar.

Have a great day Roger K5MOW

That is a great looking Tag, a few years ago I had a 1000 series I wore it almost daily for roughly 10 years almost got back what I paid for it too when I sold it. I did have a Kirium F1 too but I purchased it used and it had been over polished, a beautiful watch but the over polishing ruined it for me and I sold it straight away.

Superb watches enjoy and wear it in good health

Decided to call Tag Heuer and they told me that the ERJ4577 is not part of the model number. The model number is CAH1010. They also told me that this watch has a Ronda 5040B movement.

Thank you for all the help

Very nice Roger, and so cool you found out what you wanted
to find out about the watch there ! :thumb:

So neat that TAG Heuer actually helped you like that too ! :clapping-hands-abov

Love the whole style of these with the supercharged bezels,
but also dials to match. ..Really is a mean looking watch !

Congratulations, and enjoy !!!
