I've been following a watch for sale on eBay. Not only for it's beauty, rarity, etc . . . but the fact that the movement used in this piece is from famed "module" manufacturer, DUBOIS-DEPRAZ. It's a new (to me) 2038 module bringing the final jewel count to 47.

The base movement is either a ETA 2892-A2 or a Sellita SW300.

I did contact the seller who informed me that the description for the auction was taken from the manufacturer's sales description.

This is the first time (for me) that I've seen a watch description from a manufacturer including mention of the SW300.

How cool!
