On 6 August I ordered a Sugess S419 Chrono Heritage on the Seestern website (it hasn't moved since then but Seestern expects the shipping data to be updated tomorrow). This watch is of course an effort to produce an homage to the Zenith Chronomaster Revival El Primero A384. I did not order it with a steel bracelet because that doesn't really add to the overall appearance of the watch but I will purchase a correct period Forstner ladder bracelet for it once this becomes available again.

Model: Chrono Heritage S419GS Special Dial (Sugess Upgrade Gold Swan Neck Sea-gull ST1902 movement)
Function: 12 Hours and seconds Indicator, 30 Minutes Chronograph
Features: Column Wheel Chronograph, Blue steel screws and Exhibition Case Back Cover
Diameter: 37mm
Thickness: 14.5mm
Lug width: 20mm
Lug to Lug: 47mm
Crystal Material: Domed Sapphire Crystal
Case Material: 316L Stainless Steel
Band: Canvas
Movement: Manual winding
Calibre: Genuine Seagull ST1902 (Gold Swan Neck Version)
Jewels: 21
Vibrations: 3 Hz (21,600 BPH)
Power Reserve: 45 Hours
Water Resistance: 5ATM (50 Meters)

Good things come to those who wait they always say Frans, so I'm
thinking that is why they are making you wait so long. 😉Sending a
SENSATIONAL Seestern congratulations to you ahead of time !!!

You really have to hand it to Seestern with these kind of homages.
Just the details which are perfected are exceptional. Everything from
the instantly recognizable dial, to the incredible, not to mention
invincible looking case are they to enjoy. It's really something ! ..As
is the movement it looks like too sir. ..Stunning ! 😵😎

And yes, just as Gary said above, seeing it on that bracelet will be a
real treat as well. It will be the perfect finishing touch to the look of
this one. (y)

Yes, I’m really looking forward to this one. Free shipping usually means slow shipping but I’m used to that by now. AliExpress is an option but there it is $37 more expensive and marginally faster to my doorstep. And $37 will cover import duty, if any. Zenith supplies their watch standard on a ladder bracelet and this really compliments the watch. But hey, their version is about 8400 Euro….. The Sugess (flawed but still nice), is not :). And the fact that the future bracelet will set me back 50% of the price of the watch is only understood on WF. But I like my watches neat and tidy.

😮😊 Oh wow, so sorry about that Gary.(y)

Don’t mind me, I’m fine. :ROFLMAO: I went back and fixed that by the way.
Thanks very much for the heads up on that !

And Frans, yes, we don’t really need fast shipping all the time right?! ;)
A lot of times the anticipation is some of the best part about getting
a new watch. So this way you can just relax, and look forward to, but
not be in a rush to get the watch. Which doesn’t seem flawed at all
all from this side of the screen. :)

Should be a great looking watch, AND bracelet sir !!

That black rally strap looks really good on that original. If you can't find the ladder bracelet, I'm sure you can find a similar strap!

I was looking up the Zenith, and found this model where they put it on a black gator print strap. I must say I like the black rally better, as it gives it more of a 1970's vintage vibe. The ladder bracelet looks really good too. I love the view of the Seagull movement through that display caseback on the Sugess.

Breathtaking Frans, not to mention incredibly tough to top in every single
category. 😉But from a distance your Suggess looks pretty cool if you ask
me. 🙂(y) Other than the date window, and Zenith not being on the dial,
it's a near perfect tribute.

Oh, and it's probably just an optical illusion, but the Suggess at
least 'looks' as if it is stockier than the Zenith too. However, I think
that it's just my eyes playing tricks on me. Because the Suggess is
shown on the wrist, while the Zenith is shown on a desk, or head on
like with Gary's pic.

No matter how you slice it, it's a beautiful style. 😎

I prefer the Sugess dial without the date window.

I fully agree. Given the choice I will always purchase the non date version of a watch. This preserves symmetry and I like that. I'm not really into chronographs but two out of the three that own bear historical significance and the third just looks 70s vintage. So does the Sugess. I also like the rally strap on that original and may just go for that one to start with.

And of course I couldn’t resist ordering a black Hirsch Artisan rally strap that already arrived. I’m staying with my brother in Brugges now and he’s spoiling me rotten :)

Oh nice, you have some really terrific taste Frans ! (y)(y)

This Sugess will be beyond cool with that on it I think. Because it
makes the watch have even more of a heritage feel. Or rather vintage
personality to it imho. Plus it just looks great, as well as plays off of
the dial/sub-dials.;)

Yet another excellent move sir. ..An ULRA cool congrats on this
ahead of time too !!!
