About:
“As a watch enthusiast, I started looking for the best leathers to make my own straps, and also started to develop the skills to make very special and unique straps. Every new strap is almost like a new watch.
Like anything good in life, strap making became my business as soon as friends and relatives started asking me to make their ideas come true. Now I take orders from almost any part of the world.
I make the most amazing and high quality straps you can find, always trying to bring something new to what you can find in the market today.”

Thoughts and Impressions:
This is my first hand made leather watch band, so I have little to compare it to. I generally stick to steel bracelets and NATO style straps, so I will try to describe this piece as well as I can without making any comparisons.
The leather is a rugged looking, soft, and high quality. The stitching is very tight, and well-spaced. The leather is so soft that there is no break-in period. The color is a tad darker than I expected from the QC photos, but lends itself to a very casual look. It has two keepers, one of which is fixed, and does not come with any hardware. The edges of this strap are unsealed, and combined with the excellent black stitching, I feel as though this strap will continue to look better as it wears and ages. For a handmade strap, this isn’t terribly thick (comparing to some images I have seen of other brands on the forums). It comes in at a shade over 4mm, and is 24mm wide with no taper.

This is also the first time I have worn a 24mm band, and it is quickly growing on me. I purchased a Marina Militare to fit the watch to, as all I had in my current collection is 20 & 22mm divers. For a $75 price point (sans buckle), I have to say you could not go wrong with Ach Straps. It is a very nice quality, hand-made strap with great visual appeal, especially for larger time pieces.

The butterfly deployment clasp I picked up from Holbens Fine Watch Bands to go with this is also quite good. It is very comfortable, easy to adjust, and has no "rattle" to it. That is probably in part to the thickness of the Ach strap, but it does feel very well made for the price. The PVD coating is uniform, and feels as though it will hold up to quite a bit of desk diving.

This one was free to me from a WatchFreek giveaway, but I can say that I am already looking into ordering another one from Ach Straps.

Moved to strap review section.

Great review Ganson and glad you like your strap as well.
I think thickness is perfect at 4mm.
Unless super soft when they are thicker than that they are just too bulky IMO.
Looks great. Enjoy and thank you again for the review.

I want to thank WatchFreeks for being here and hosting giveaways like this, and of course acharria for making an excellent strap. I wouldn't have picked up a strap like this if it wasn't for this site.

Like I said, I'm sure I will be purchasing more.
