For some of us, it's almost that time of year again, grass cutting season...Do you mind doing it or is it just another chore added onto your already busy schedule ?

I am a yard fanatic, however I will not fire up the mower until the mid April. Love my yard, very tropical theme, Palms, banana tree's, grasses Decomposed bark Very Black!!! Love my yard work, it sets mt mind at ease from all the B.S. that transpires during my day!

At times I see it as relaxing believe it or not.....stress relief.

Not me...Got rid of my grass all concrete in my back yard...lol...don't have the patience or the time so last year spent some coin well actually spent a lot of coin to make it a no maintenance back yard...

Havent had grass for 10 years now I have a low maintenane yard rocks and desert plants.

I have a little grass in the back yard, the rest is all rock and xeriscape, with lots of plants for the butterflies and hummingbirds. As for the grass I have buffalo grass which requires little maintenance.

I love cutting the grass! I have rheumatoid arthritis so some days I don't feel like walking so I use my Dixon ZTR rider. That thing cuts the time in half and I'm riding so it's no big deal. I do like this activity for some odd reason. I always love to have my yard looking the best in the neighborhood!

I've already mowed my lawn twice, takes about 30 mins. as I have a rather small lawn. I use an electric mower, moved up from the reel mower I used the first 7 yrs we lived here.

I love when my lawn is nicely manicured and keep on top of it to keep it looking green and healthy.
It is a chore that I don't mind doing. Lucky for me I have neighbors who tend their lawns so the street looks great.
I do at least one project a year to add something to make it look more aesthetic. Last Summer, I added a stone path. This year I'm repainting the fence and maybe adding a fountain.

Cutting grass (like washing the car) gives me time to think and process my thoughts. Some of my "best" ideas and plans have come while doing either.

We have a yard guy that comes around and does our lawn.....just something I can't do anymore.

My back won't allow me to do it anymore....my kids did it for a while but they are not around enough in the spring so I have a guy cut it for me....
