After getting the opportunity to try on a Rolex Deepsea Sea-Dweller not too long ago, I've been lusting after another mechanical large-size diver to add to my collection. Looking through the posts here, I found a lot of folks buying (and liking) the Invicta Grand Diver, which certainly fits the bill for a large dive watch. :) It's powered by the Seiko NH35A movement, which is reliable as hell and the same movement that's in my Seiko 5 Baby Monster. Considering the movement, the positive reviews here, and the overall look of the piece, I ordered one from Jomashop today. :)

Congratulations ! I love mine very much. It was a gift from a great watch brother. What color combo ? I still want another one, the yellow carbon fiber dial. Mine is blue/blue.
It's a 47mm but wears super comfy. Looks great on original bracelet, mesh and a bunch of straps.

Here's a older pic.

This is a good looking diver.. NOT the typical Invicta garb.. Very nice and clean. Well done, its a sharp watch, cant wait to see you post up some pictures of your new time piece.

V Guy:
Appearently Evine is becoming watch poor of Invictas w NH35 24 jewel
movements. Also low on 9110 and 0420's too.
The 8926's they had use the Seiko NH25 engine. Me no likeee NH25.

The Zon seems fully stocked on Invicta autos. One 9937 with Valjoux
7750 left. $419.00

Thank you! The Grand Diver has definitely caught my eye, so I'm pretty sure this one won't be my last. I went with the basic black on black. Admittedly, I wanted to get the teal on teal, but they didn't have one in. Another one I like is the green on black. :) I've actually seen the Deepsea Sea-Dweller on a Zulu strap and totally loved it, so I'll definitely be picking up a few for this piece.

It's one of the few Invicta models I like, that's for sure. It'll see plenty of wrist-time!

Admittedly, I've only got one Invicta with the NH25 movement (my 6925 Scooby) but I've never had any issues with it. Pretty much the only thing I don't care for on the movement is that it's non-hacking and not hand-windable. Everything else about it is gravy to me more or less. :)
