What is the smallest analog GMT watch, either current or from the recent past? I see that Timex lists their new Q GMT as having a 38mm case and I have a Wenger GMT quartz marked 097.0699 on the case back. I presume that is a model number as no other number is visible on the case back. The case on it is 38.7mm minimum diameter. Anything out there more compact?

I also have a Citizen Digi-Ana quartz chronograph dual time watch that includes 24 hour display mode on the LCD digital readout portion and it's case is about 35mm across. As it is a tonneau shaped case it is hard to call the dimension the diameter. A very compact men's watch with GMT capability.

Well this is an awesome question Astronut, not to mention one I had
not actually thought about. (y) But it’s a fantastic question because
a lot of people don’t have big wrists. Plus might be interested in GMT
watches, or a GMT watch. ..Wow, and 35mm is nice, and tiny too. 😲🙂

Honestly, I don’t have any specific watches in mind. However, I did
do a little searching, and found a few to add in here.

Glycine Airman No. 1 36mm...

The Ball Trainmaster comes in at 38mm...

Maen’s Greenwich 38 GMT is 38mm as well...

Steinhart’s Ocean 39mm isn’t too large...

There are so many out there it’s kingpd of amazing really. But those are
three cool ones. And have a video here for you as well. Enjoy: 🙂

The Citizen tech manual I downloaded is dated 1979 and the original manual for the watch, which I still have, indicated that the LCD display would need replacement every 50,000 hours or a bit over 5 years. My LCD is still doing fine after 42+ years.

Very cool - I'd love to see that on someone's wrist today

Oh neat Astronut ! 😀

Yeah, I’m with Eric, that one is amazing really. 😉 I mean it does
everything those automatic watches do there above, but in an
ultra funky cool way. 😎(y) ..Fantastic !
