For about $150 you can stream your cable or satellite TV to a computer any place in the world. I have two. I'm streaming cable to both my son and daughter in college. They get all the stations as if they were sitting at home. They can change the channel, watch On Demand and even use a DVR (if they had one). My son may be the only college student in Delaware that gets the NFL Network because we are streaming it to him. The software is easy to load and even gives you pause and rewind functions. My son spent the summer working in China and used it there without any problems.
If you are not familiar with this device then you really should check it out.
