Recently picked up a Seiko Rail Road Pocket Watch in Japan. Well, cause that's the only place you can get them. they're not available in the United States. I have to say, I am very impressed. Though it's a quartz movement, it Very High Quality! at a price tag of only $265, you can't go wrong. I set it with the Atomic Clock three months ago and it hasn't lost or gained a second. I was just wondering if any of you other Pocket Watch Hounds have had the chance to pick one up? I curious to hear your thoughts. They Are very elegant and are of the highest quality.

I'm an Ex 40 year RR locomotive engineer
During my career I wore nothing but Hamiltons (Size 16, 992b and 950b)
But there were other brands too. The Ball, the B W Raymond (Elgin) the
Illinois Bunn Special and the Waltham to name a few.
American RRs would've never have approved a non American watch.

In 1973 I bought the Bulova Accutron model 218 RR Grade. Wore it the
remainder of my career. Sold it to an area vintage watch shop.
