Seiko Outlet Store Visit - Lots of Pictures and Info

I went by a Tanger Outlet in Foley Alabama today and had to stop in the Seiko store I saw there.

Once inside I spent a fun 30 minutes talking to the Store Manager Shann Miller. He is a very knowledgeable cool guy, who is also a big watch fan. (He may join here soon as a member also).

The store had ABOUT 1900 Seiko watches of all sizes and price points. They also had some very very limited numbered models costing many thousands of dollars (see pictures below). Overall the prices with the discounts they were offering were fair, but Shann and I did discuss that many of the internet sites sell some of the models for less. He has some range to deal so that was good also.

*** Before I show the pics I wanted to pass this cool info along. Shann said if you email him your email address to seikofoley@seikousa.com and request to be put on the Seiko mailing list you will receive notices of "friends and family" sales and other special discounts only available to people on the mailing list. I sent in my email address already. EMAIL HIM TO BE ON THE MAILING LIST!!!!

Shann let me take a bunch of pics. I was able to get some prices also. The last few pics below are $3-5000 limited edition numbered watches.

PLEASE NOTE THAT EVERY WATCH price in the pictures below had an additional discount that would be applied if purchased. Most were 30% or 40%

the pics of the top 2 high end ones I posted above were incredible. amazing weight and feel to them. Very even weight distribution, and just so well made. You knew you were holding and wearing a top top time piece.

Whew...Luckily the Texas stores are a couple of hundred miles from here!!! I'd be in trouble!!! I like Seiko's...have had many in my days. I had a LE that I got back in the early 1990's that was spectacular...Master Calender with Moon Phase that was gun metal with gold trim on the case and gun metal/18k gold two tone bracelet. Not gold plated either...was 18k gold...cost me a small fortune...I think around $1400 back in 1990. My dad has it now...but the bracelet has since disappeared and it's on a leather strap now.

WOW what a cool store!! we really dont get many shops over here specialising in one thing.. although in a town called bournemouth by where i live there is an upmarket rich area with LOTS of jewellers, some you cant get in unless you book an appointment!! :BE:BE They sell Hublot, U-boat and all the luxury brands, we DO have a shop that only sells Breitling, pretty cool in there :)

I was wondering when you would see this randy, lol

It was an incredible store and a great chance to see a TON of models all at one time.
