One of the things I enjoy doing is helping some friends with their alligator snapping turtle research. These three images are from this past October when we captured a big 'gator snapper for some photos.
This particular animal was only in about 8 feet of water but he was way back up under submerged tree trunks and roots. Kind of a struggle to extricate him without getting mauled. After photos and measurements he was released at the site.
I didn't realize it until later but my Seiko Black Monster showed up in a few of the photos.


This shows it off quite well...a Seiko Monster with a Monster Snapper!
He weighed well over 70 pounds.

Jesus Christ that's one big-arse ugly turtle! He looks like he could take your hand off in one bite!

Kudos for getting involved in important conservation work. If more people acted like you the world would be a better place.

That has to be one of the ugliest creatures "God ever put a gut in"
(one of my ole deceased Dad's expressions).
Least the turtle isn't as butt ugly as a Wart Hog. IMO God"s ugliest.
I have that same watch and luv it!!!

Stay away from these Pug Ugly creatures for they might swaller your
Seiko.
