Congrats, Rob! I'd love to hear your thoughts versus the Accutron. BTW, I returned mine to Amazon.com because the movement died... I expect no such problems with your 7750 or the Seiko...

The movement in your Accutron died?? That sucks. Are you going to buy another?? I will let you know how the Seiko is when it arrives. My Accutron is working fine thank goodness. I guess sometimes it pays to buy them used I guess. Hopefully you can snag something else. At least you have $345 to put towards something else.

It's only the second one that I had a problem with. The first was the sw200 pro diver. Fortunately both were purchased with return privileges and the problems surfaced early enough that I could return them. They were out of stock, but I'll just wait for something second hand. I've had pretty good luck so far with trades and second hand purchases.

I would definitely try to find another. I think the Accutron VX-200 is worth having in a collection. I would like to add a 2824-2 someday. Yours was awesome looking. That's crazy that it just stopped working. I have 2 SW200's and they are still working. I'm always wondering if one of these days they will just stop working. I have an Omega Automatic that needs to go in for a cleaning and calibration. Every once in a while it will start slowing down drastically and sometimes it will just stop all together. It is about 35 years old so it's not really shocking.

Here is my contribution to this Seiko "Monster" section, I just picked this up last week, fully modded by Yakobies. Case and bracelet have been bead blasted, new dial, chapter ring, plongeur hands and sapphire crystal w/AR coating. Enjoy!!!

What can you tell me about Yakobies? Not familiar with them. Do they do custom mods? Very nice watch by the way. A little bit like a Monster with hands like an Orca and a different dial. Very interesting, but it really looks great.

Looks great, Iceman! I have one original orange monster and I just added an SK009 pepsi bezel. I'm thinking of keeping them pretty close to original, but buying a couple more Seikos for Mod Madness...

Yours looks GREAT! Which bracelet is that?

The Seiko monsters and all of the rest of Seikos divers are probably the best diver for the money available.

The solid build, and killer lume are hard to beat.

The accuracy is all over the place but the newer 7s26B models seem to be a bit more solid in the accuracy dept. than the 7s26A's.

Yoy can't go wrong with a Seiko diver.
