I have a seiko 6309 7049 and it has been serviced with all worn out parts replaced,and this was done by a professional watch maker. The thing is it runs+15 to+20 seconds a day is this normal?

So it is normal then? Atleast normal for a 35 year old watch

Well, I can't speak for all 6309's everywhere. But I wouldn't worry about it. If it bothers you, get it regulated again.

The movements that came after are +/- 30 seconds frequently (i.e. the 7s26).

15 seconds a day is normal for some new Seiko automatic watches. You're good to go

Freeks:
I have 6 Seiko autos. 7S26, 7S36, 4R36 all of em ran at least 15 to 20 secs
fast until they were "worn in".
4R36 the most accurate of the herd. 4 to 6 sec + each 24 hours.

Have a new Vostok Kommanderiske, 17 jeweled, 2414 engine. Avg 4 to 6
secs + each day. Really hard to assess accuracy since none but the 4R36 will
hack,

Inserts made for the SKX007 will fit, and there are many. Check Yobokies and Dagaz Watches.
