Got this in a trade with Watchurself today and I am really happy. My first Seiko and it is a beefy beast. Initially my concern was the size, but it wears WAY WAY bigger because of the massive crown and big case. Really good weight and balance also.
Very smooth automatic also.

I have to admit that right now I have no idea whatsoever how to work it, but will be reading the books that came with the watch.

Any weight to it TV?
actually yes, much more then I thought there would be and it is very evenly weighted somehow, even with the giant crown to one side.

Interesting I do like this watch.
ron, i think you would like the look, but it would be to small feeling for you. For me it is right at the bottom end of my size scale, but so cool and different and uniquely shaped that it is a keeper. For someone of your size, I think you would find it to small. My wrist is not as large as yours is.

Huge or not, it looks very cool and substantial. I'm not 100% that the gigantic watch trend is here forever... My Seiko is at the small end of the scale for me, too and my IDEAL size is +/- 47mm, but you never know how things come and go.

I REALLY liked those skinny ties in the 80's, LOL.

Enjoy the Seiko. It's a keeper.

it is still pretty large, because the overall case and unique crown is so massive. what is unique is that the dial and dial window are not giant.

I just love it because it is larger sized overall, completely unique all around, has a great weight to it, awesome feature, AMAZING LUM, and a really good automatic movement.
