I found a great deal on a watch I've had my eye on for a while, but never quite got around to buying, the Aegir CD-2 w/ gray dial. For those of you not familiar with Aegir, the watches are pretty limited because the owner, Todd Cauldwell, has a full time job as a commercial diver in the North Sea oil and gas industry. The movement is Soprod A-10, the case is Fricker, and the watch is no f***ing nonsense. Todd has posted on another forum that there were a total of 75 cases made for the CD-2: 2 were damaged, 6 are spares, Todd owns 2, which left 65 that were sold. Nearly all had brushed cases, but I managed to buy one of two that have a polished case.

These watches are so cool for so many reasons when you think about it. You're just not going to have to worry about seeing a watch like this from another company. The case, dials, and bezels are unlike anything else out there. So it will stand out in public, or in your watch box ! Yowzers Chuck ! NICE ! Huge congrats once again there !
